Beaufort Court ~Zero Emissions Building

The old Ovaltine Egg Farm's unique horseshoe-shaped rearing house was designed in the 1920s to catch as much sunlight as possible for the young chickens, needed no artificial heating and produced a high standard of lighting, ventilation and cleanliness. Today this design – with several clever enhancements – is benefiting humans rather than chickens!
